The Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP) has officially announced the start of Phase 3 payments under the 8171 system, bringing financial relief to thousands of eligible families across Pakistan. According to the latest update for 2026, beneficiaries will begin receiving the Rs.13,500 installment from May 19 through designated payment centers and banking partners.
This phase mainly targets families whose payments were pending due to verification or district-wise scheduling.
Phase 3 Payment Schedule – What’s New
Under the updated rollout plan, the government is releasing payments in stages to ensure smooth distribution and avoid overcrowding at centers.
Key highlights of Phase 3:
- Payment amount remains Rs.13,500 per eligible family

- Coverage expanded to remaining districts
- Biometric verification mandatory
- Payments linked with updated National Socio-Economic Registry (NSER) data
Beneficiaries who recently completed the Dynamic Survey are also included in this phase.

Eligible families can confirm payment approval using the official 8171 Web Portal or SMS service.

Where Beneficiaries Will Receive Payments
Phase 3 payments are being distributed through authorized channels supervised by BISP authorities.
Payment collection points include:
- BISP Campsites established district-wise
- HBL Konnect agents
- Bank Alfalah payment partners
- Selected biometric ATMs in urban areas
Applicants must carry their original CNIC for verification.
Important Instructions for Beneficiaries
To receive payments without delay:
- Ensure CNIC is valid and updated with NADRA
- Complete pending NSER verification if required
- Use registered mobile number
- Avoid agents or unofficial payment messages
Families marked previously as “Pending Verification” are advised to recheck their status through the 8171 system.
